Former city police officer accused of stealing, auctioning off video games

A former Lawrence police officer, once honored as a hero, is being charged with 14 federal counts of felony wire fraud, accused of selling stolen video games on eBay while employed by the police force.

I'm not saying what he did was right. But before every jumps on this guy's rear, did anyone ever consider that maybe the reason he did it was because he was desperate and let his morals go out the door? Everyone makes mistakes. Don't tell me you never have. I'm sure he has a family that he's trying to take care of. Leave him alone. He'll get whatever punishment the judge thinks is fair.

lol. . .sad to be getting paid that much & do stuff like this. Wonder how he got caught & what other schemes he has done on the side to make a few extra bucks.
