Mental health facilities losing money

Local mental health official say they are being forced to make $1 million in cuts. Local facility officials say the cuts will have a big impact on the community.

No free rides? Kansas is not a high tax state, we are ranked # 26. Property tax cuts on automobiles since 1995 to present amounts to over 9 Billion dollars. We all are taking a free ride on the backs of our most vulnerable citizens. Kansas is known for neighbors helping neighbors in time of need. Our neighbors who are mentally ill or physically disabled are in need and dying. It is time for us all to pay a fair toll for the ride.
