I worship KU athletics
Just stop with the Green America crap. It is not cost efficient to build this stuff. Like the Greensburg project, those people can't afford to build it. How about we start with something simple. Like doing away with gasoline engines and going to electric engines. This is a sports article about sports. How dare you spin it with your political agenda.
aren't there only two LEED buildings in Kansas? in olathe and greensburg. there should be plenty of coal to win some national titles. but since it is already too late for this project cool, how can we make sure the new engineering and business school building projects are LEED? Can anything be designed this way? Even a frat house extension? Any if they can be designed that way why weren't they?
would like to see KU athletics get on the 'green team'...... that would be a win-win for all of us in Lawrence.
is it sustainable or green ?does it have renewable energy ?was it a LEED certified project ?
now about those questions about 'state of art' and energy efficiency ?
I was really against moving the football team's stuff away from jayhawker towers, but after watching this I am very impressed.
