The Recycalusa organization has taken on composting for the first time at this years Wakarusa Festival. About 130 volunteers are collecting waste from food vendors along with recyclable to help make the effort more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Rylan Ortiz, recycling co-director of the festival, led the composting effort, which is called "Wormarusa."
