don't worry, it was a government grant monies for this program, I am guessing they had insurance, after all, they were catering to "underpriveledged"what did they steal? paint? and materials? I am sure it will go to use somewhere in the surrounding areas~

I just want to cry and scream !! Our Daughter Cody had a wonderful part in painting the limosine when she was in 7th grade, Cody is 23 now and Van Go was a big part of her life for many years. To see it damaged breaks my heart. I hope the community rallys around Lynne Green because she is a asset to the young people of Lawrence.

Matahari--Nothing was stolen, which makes it even more senseless. Whoever broke in was only interested in destruction, not in making a profit. Sure, there's insurance and other funding available to "replace" what was broken--but you can't replace artwork that is smashed into pieces with a mere check from the insurance company.
