Mining's legacy: Jim McCauley
Geologist Jim McCauley of the Kansas Geological Survey discusses the history of lead, zinc and coal mining in southeast Kansas and describes the types of coals found in the state. McCauley also describes the coal mines themselves, his journey into a former mine and the impact of mining on the water.
