How I came to live in Lawrence

The Yellow House is a local second hand store. They have been doing business in Lawrence since 1983.

They buy and sell Major Appliances, electronics, video games, and musical instruments, tools, and lots more great stuff!.

Affiliations

The Yellow House remains active in community involvement and encourage others to do the same!

The Yellow House realizes the struggles and sacrifices that individuals must make in this tough economy.
They work with the local SRS to provide appliances to needy family's, They donate to the local schools for fund raisers, are available to support local charity's, and homeless shelters and support local churches and the humane society.

Hobbies

Children are our future!

The Yellow House owners are strong supporters of the children in our community. They were foster parents for 29 children and were matched in the Big Brothers program for 10 years. Guy has coached Biddy Basketball, and both Carrie & Guy have worked with local Teen activity groups.

We Pray others in the community will carry-on the torch of community involvement, expecially when it comes to helping a child!
