Longtime choral music leader at KU dies
Dr. Ralston is one of the few teachers I remember from my student years at Washington High School. I believe he came to WHS as a first-year teacher, in 1957. The girls' first impression was that he was good looking. He turned out to be an excellent teacher and kind person. I participated in class, chorus, Madrigal Society, and several musicals under his direction. As I recall we presented Carnival, Brigadoon.and two more musicals. Of course, there was always the big Christmas concert, also. If you have a yearbook, my name was Suzanne Hendrickson.
