City hears pitch for policy limiting use of drones by police department
The price of chocolate is going down. Tag your Friends ! Where did you go to school? This information will not be shared with anyone we wouldn't share it with. We will need your thumb print. Please, pee in this cup. Sugar substitutes will make us healthier ! We have always been at war with terror.

Letter: No transparency
This Obama guy is governing like a Republican. Where is that Socialism that the smart people have been promising? I need the wars to stop. I want the hungry fed, three times a day, every day, forever. I need pollution to taper way the heck down. I need money out of politics. I need Rush Limbaugh fans to understand that They are the "low-information voters". Will Hannity ever get to the bottom of Fast and Furious? So Susan Rice got the talking points wrong on Sunday times five, after the attack. There is another lady named Rice who frequented the Sunday shows. Is it too soon to consider our war crimes a scandal?

Editorial: No magic answer
First, this sounds like someone, once again, got shot with a gun. How are we to know whether the shooter was a good guy with a gun stopping a bad guy with a gun, or a bad guy, who in turn, may new-logically demonstrate the need for more guns on our streets?? There should be gun shops next to every bar? More guns is probably the answer. But, Let's focus on the music.

Opinion: Benghazi, IRS: Son of Watergate?
WOW, The IRS looks into groups that are seeking special tax breaks or exemptions ? And 35% or so of those groups in some time period starting around 2010 were conservative groups? This is the tip of the iceberg. If my calculations are close to correct, the IRS scrutiny of non-conservative groups happened at nearly twice the rate, and will be twice the scandal.

Opinion: Obama budget not a breakthrough
Raise benefits. Lower the age of eligibility. Corporate taxes are historically low. One or two percent of trillions could add up fast. Swindles are historically high. But try not to think about that. The script says that we should get money from the poor people. More poor equals more money?right? This could work! If only there was some way of getting the word out. The Globetrotters are favored to win...again. The "game" is rigged. Charles is a paid member of the pep club.

Remembering the Holocaust, to prevent it from repeating
So as not to repeat the atrocities of the '30s and '40s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, oughts and nows, We'll need to know what happened. Do we know how many people met our bullets and bombs in Korea, Viet Nam, Lebanon,Central America, Panama, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq some more, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan ? You'd think that our "left-wing" media would report that news. Oh, look over there, Stalin killed millions. The lesson we've learned is that it is better for business if the numbers are fudged. We've learned to claim self-defense. We have outsourced atrocity. Stand by for breaking news about Anna Nicole Smith. Wait til you hear about what Rush said about what Trump said about Rosie O'Donnell. The wars are going on and ongoing. Rinse and repeat. Freedom, freedom, freedom, and freedom, don't forget freedom

Opinion: Gun laws won’t conquer evil
A gun is not a pool. A gun is not a tool. Stopping evil ain't the question. Guns are inventory that the makers want to move. Guns are merchandise, products to be sold. They keep makin' 'em. We keep buyin' 'em. Are last week's stats out? Have we passed Yemen as the gunniest? I would like for less people to be shot. More guns equals more shooting. More pools equals more swimming. As long as our representatives remain bribed by the gun lobby, gun control legislation, IF passed, will be weak sauce. We need to get the bribe money out of politics. Propaganda and fear-mongering needs to be called out, pointed out, and thought about. Cal Thomas is nationwide. Cal is a salesman, a pitch man, selling ideas not necessarily his own, pitching whacky woo. Crying wolf is a tool. Distraction is a tool. Cal's AM radio writing is a tool. Media consolidation is a weapon.

Gun rights bills on target for final passage
OK,....... this'll work. We'll tell our guns that they are in charge. We're gonna need a new flag. Something cool ! I've got all kinds of ideas ! We can still claim to love America a little bit. Let's eat. I'm hungry. Are you hungry? Freedom !!! Turns out , Guns aren't stupid. I am. Wanting peace and safety and truth and justice, I'm in the way of the way. Sorry. Let's all write some fat checks to ALEC so that they can get to work on more of our goodly needs.
