City investigating feasibility of transit buses fueled by compressed natural gas

Josh Fox documenting the dangers of fracking doesn't make it into our newspapers. Too much of our "news" is masquerade Marketing. Pollution from fracking negates claims of gas-burning cleanliness. Watch the movie Gasland, and Gasland 2.

Kansas utility regulators approve operations changes

Some of the questions look poll-y. Some are less so. In those cases, the goal seems to be just to get a click. We will not share your information with anyone we would not share it with.

Kansas utility regulators approve operations changes

I want to read this story. I don't want to click away at the survey questions until I'm good and drunk. Pollsters' horizons have expanded. They have mastered the answered landline, and now want to find out what our finger thinks. This is huge. In an amazing coincidence, some convincing percentage of the public is for the war, and in favor of fracking and tar sands. We are free to have big business run our country.

What are you doing for Independence Day?

I will attempt to gay-marry John Wayne's corpsebones. Then I'm gunna think deep as I can about Freedom. I'm gonna spend all my money, and then some. I'll eat sumpthin' with corrrrn in it. I'll drink something with corrrn in it. I'll put on my store-bought clothing and squirt myself with Off. Yep, everything I did before this last ones, I done nekkid. I'm gunna watch the weather, gonna watch the news. I'll read the news to a point where I'm asked to answer a question to continue reading. I'll watch the parking meters. I'll remind myself that that hole in the ozone got fixed. I will ponder the liberty of fracking. I will not look up the definition of habeus corpus. I promise not to proofread the Constitution, not enough time.
