KBI investigating Franklin County Sheriff’s Office

Wow. I am so impressed with the conversation tonight with the people who are aware of this. I just figured this would all go unnoticed. I am not sure how both spouses could put up with this behavior on either side. Especially the spouse who does the same job in another county. Not sure whether he was blind to it or just put up with it. Either way, good luck.

KBI investigating Franklin County Sheriff’s Office

You mean the new assistant district attorney in the Johnson County Attorney’s Office who serves as a section chief of the sex crimes and child abuse division. It was so blatantly obvious for many years what was going on down there in Franklin County. Chances are this is not why the KBI is down there though. Nice work Sheriff.

Wow. Still pissed off about that speeding ticket you got back in 2002? Now that's just funny.

Vehicles have run off U.S. 59, hit fence on property over 30 times

"But Shuck said she’s lucky if the driver sticks around. A lot of times, they try to flee the scene, leaving behind a broken fence and a costly bill."

No, it is not always easy for LE to figure out if alcohol was a factor. A high percentage of the time they leave the scene because they know they have been drinking and run the risk of being arrested. And I was also being specific to the example she used. Just don't believe people are falling asleep there. They are impaired, and can't negotiate a curve.

Falling asleep? Yeah sure. I bet that is what they are doing. At that exact point, going up the hill where the curve is. I call that passing out from to much to drink.
