Obviously you don't now (or never have) had Satellite!! I have had DIRECTV for 20 years and would NEVER go back to cable. I can count on one hand the times that the service has gone out , regardless of weather conditions. I have weather information and get weather alerts. I don't know where you got your information, but it is completely and totally false and misleading. Do you work for WOW! or COMCAST or COX or..........

I had a sister who was killed in a wreck. After investigation it was discovered if she HADN'T had her seat belt on she probably would have lived.
