'Ordinary' area woman has spent nearly a decade trying to expose an international nonprofit

I did some searching on the internet about this so called charity and found this article that describes Planet Aid as a cult - Whether or not that story is true, Charity Watch provides an unfavorable analysis of the organization's spending:

Streets, infrastructure polling higher than police headquarters in new city survey results

How many people responded to the survey? I looked at the results but didn't see this information there.

Free State fall sports jamboree

That picture is of the Pom squad not the cheerleaders. And Bryce Torneden is a sophomore. All the fall sports teams came out to the stadium and were introduced. And some teams had scrimmages. There were free snow cones. And concessions was open. Many of the high school clubs had tables set up so that students could learn more about them. The band played. It was a super fun time for families!

Town Talk: Coffee, martial arts, bank slated for proposed development in N.W. Lawrence; speculation on the Olive Garden that has never materialized; chamber being sent message to stay out of retail

As far as the proposed development at 6th and Congressional, we already have a coffee shop at 6th and Wakarusa - locally owned J&S. And then there's a Starbucks inside Dillons. There's ATA - a martial arts place over at 6th and Waka too. and like JChristine says there are several vacant commercial properties around town.

Town Talk: Roger Morningstar to open New York pizza place in West Lawrence; library to introduce three finalists for director job to public; Iwig Dairy to open store on Friday

There was a place called Westside Deli, not Westside Diner. It has been closed for a long time - It closed in 2006. I'm looking forward to the new Iwig store!

Town Talk: Starbucks moving forward with W. Sixth Street drive-through; community theater project taking shape; incubator to launch entrepreneur series

I sent you a message to ask about the Bourgeois Pig but I didn't notice you had posted something about it in this very article. I love that place so I am anxious to hear what sort of remodel they may have done to the place. I would be devasted if they closed for good.
