far be it from me to disprove or prove anything here in these comments...

simply observing and commenting...

as for Morningstar... I don't think he did any time... other than maybe a mandatory overnight lock-up... but it's my understanding that it was his first DUI and it's my understanding that people generally don't do any time for first offense DUIs...

on the other hand... I'm not sure that it's getting off easy... compared to your average joe... when you get newspaper articles published about your DUI... or in Mario Little's case for pushing his girlfriend...

I wonder how many girl friends got pushed by their boyfriends that night...

I wonder how many guys got DUIs the night Morningstar got his...

seems to me that these guys get treated like anyone else by the legal system but pay far greater than most in public scrutiny...

Court date for KU basketball player Mario Little moved to May

this is yet another one of those comment sections that has me wondering about libel...

Mario Little is being referred to as a "woman beater"... when all that seems to be known is that he pushed the young lady into a sink...

is pushing someone into a sink beating them?

I wonder if those who are referring to Little as a woman beater know more than is stated here in this article... I wondering if they know that he pushed her really really hard… or if he also hit her… or beats her... or beats other women...

I wonder if those who are referring to Little as a woman beater are committing libel...

the reality is that Brady continues to start and play significant minutes on a team that is ranked 3rd in the nation and that is coached by who is widely considered one of the best college basketball coaches in the nation, Bill Self, who has won a National Championship and has a nearly unmatched winning percentage in college basketball...

but jmonley could be right...

maybe Bill Self is just another part of the "propaganda machine"...

you're wrong about KU being the only team who uses a 3 guard offense...
3 guards/perimeter players and 2 bigs is pretty standard in college basketball and has been for quite some time...

the big lineup that you'd like to see is something that Self might go with now and then if they're having trouble inside...
for instance... we could see that line up against Texas A&M (the biggest team in the country)...

but most of the time KU's 3 spot will be filled with a smaller player...
a player who is more of a guard than a forward... offensively...
just like a lot of college teams...

hmmm... I'm no expert on these things... but I believe Brady has been playing the 3 spot...
Josh will be playing the 2 spot...
of course... for Coach Self's offense this makes little difference...
but defensively it is a key distinction...
and Brady is a great defender at the 3 spot...

I'm guessing that Coach Self will do as he always has done... go with a lot of different combinations in his lineup....
but I think this will probably cost Tyrell more minutes than it will Brady...
and likely will cost Elijah the most...
