Simons' Saturday Column: How does KU rank in customer satisfaction?
My daughter will graduate from KU in December and I'd rate her overall experience to be no higher than a 6 out of 10. Beginning with admission and enrollment we started second guessing her decision to go to KU. And quite honestly, the only reason she did go to KU instead of KSU was to be closer to her boyfriend. For the most part we have been very disappointed will the prevailing lack of help and initiative on the part of KU employees. My daughter was never a priority and everyone seemed disinterested or put off whenever she needed any kind of assistance. Other than a handful of professors and intructors her experience has been very disappointing. I will give KU high marks in one area...asking for money!

Manziel is first freshman Heisman Trophy winner
You mean kind of like 2007 when KU had their miracle season playing the easiest schedule in D1 football and not playing either OU or UT? You mean kind of like that? You also failed to mention that Klein has set several national and Big 12 records too. So while your playing the Kiss Johnny FB and the SECs A$$ you might consider looking at all the facts.

KU tied for turnover lead
The only thing shifting the momentum and taking the crowd out of the game on Saturday was Weis' play calling and Crist's incompetency at QB. KU blew a big opportunity on Saturday!

KU's ranking drops several notches in latest U.S. News & World Report edition
Why not? Enrollment is down. Football is down so why not academic rankings?

Dayne Crist solid, not spectacular — yet
I guess now we see why Crist couldn't start at Notre Dame. 47% completion rate for 169 yards barely cuts it against a low level D1 school like SDSU. It won't cut it against any of the Big 12 Schools. We better hope he improves greatly or pray that our running game can carry the O.

Changing their tune: Jayhawks run past Jackrabbits
It better get much better than this or we'll be looking at another 2 - 9 season which, with all the hype around Weis, will be very disappointing.
