Just realized there are a lot of "anonymous" posters here.

Not sure why the Police Dept has to partially rebuild their reputation, it was only two officers that acted on their own, not the whole dept. They will be disciplined and life will go on. This isn't really ground-breaking news.

I with you on Gordman's. That store is amazing. The one in OP seems really big, but who knows.

Ross is exactly like TJ Maxx. I don't see Ross going in that location, nor in Lawrence, for that matter.

Crowds celebrate Halloween with downtown trick-or-treating

This is a great post. Thanks for the positivity! It was great. Our son would have loved it too, but he and his mom are out of town this year. And yes, thanks to all who took part!

Funny how no one really say's how much fun they had. All most will ever talk about, and this goes with nearly every topic, is how local is getting the shaft. I really don't understand what the big ordeal is between "local" and "big business".
From my understanding "local" business owners have no problem purchasing from "big businesses" in their personal life. You can't tell me that they only buy local. That is impossible. So please, stop complaining about how local businesses are better than big ones. Just go out and hang on Mass without the bitterness.

Town Talk: Reseller of clothing likely to land next to Hy-Vee on Sixth; an impassioned plea for a Peking Taste buffet; the city's debt, a recreation center and a lot of numbers

Never tried the place, always heard it was heavy on the roaches being behind Hastings around all the dumpsters. May have to try them now that they are at a new location. Kings kimchee is the best I've had in a while, though. Does PT have kimchee?
