I watched...after doing cpr for a good 20 min, they took him/her away on a stretcher.
My thoughts and prayers are with this young teen.

I am very sad to hear that Amy lost her battle, she was always very cheerful and strong about her illness. She was a very caring and giving person. She will be missed by alot of people especially Lawrence mommies.

KU unplugs steam whistle to cut costs
I AM REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT THE CAPTION UNDER THE PHOTO"Kansas University's Facilities Operations workers,affix the new steam whistle. The whistle was installed Friday on KU's power plant, where it signals the end of classes. The old whistle cracked in January. "NEW WHISTLE? WHAT.?.?.?ALSO if they cut this guy from the crew, they could def. save that $3,000 a year...DUH" Kansas University's Facilities Operations workers, as fellow worker George Cone watches. "
