It's not "your" money, it's the money and premiums that someone is privately paying for out of their pocket! Do you make anti-war posts? As a "Christian" and pro-lifer, you should be completely against war and using tax-payer money to fund our military.

Christians didn't value life during the Crusades or the Spanish Inquisition. If you look at the history of Christianity it's a violent history with many wars, all in the name of imposing a religious belief on others. What happened to the love your enemy, turn the other cheek teachings? Oh...that's only for show to try to make your religion look good....

What about the pro-lifers that think it's okay to kill doctors and health care workers that work at a clinic that performs abortion? Do you agree with that? Taking someone's life that is already living on their own, no need for a host to gestate? Most pro-lifers think that way, they don't realize that by thinking that way they're actually going against the very thing that they "stand for", which is the basic right to live.

"Come on, use a little common sense"? You keep arguing about not use tax dollars to pay for abortion, but yet private insurance doesn't use tax dollars...who needs to use common sense? The reality is our politicians are using their position to impose their religious beliefs on the tax payers. That's abuse of power and sure doesn't fall into the separation of church and state.

Private insurance isn't paid for by taxpayers, that's why it's called "private". This isn't MediCare or MediCaid they're talking about. If you want to get upset about something, how about getting upset that our politicians are passing laws based on their religious beliefs and imposing those beliefs on everybody else?

Some people believe that May 21, 2011, is Judgment Day. Do you think Saturday will mark the beginning of the end of the world?

The Mayan long count calendar just ends in 2012, it doesn't say that the earth will end. Most calendars (not on a computer) that we use end either Dec 31 or Jan 31, that doesn't mean that the earth will end then, it's just the end of that calendar.

One person killed in rollover accident on U.S. Highway 59, south of Pleasant Grove Hill

Maybe the government should step in and impose devices on vehicles and communication devices (cell phones) that don't allow the device to be used or receive texts or calls while the vehicle is in motion, and won't allow the vehicle to go into motion while the user is still engaged in talking on the phone or data usage...(except GPS). Lord knows the government wastes taxpayer money on lesser issues....
