Letter: Not so bad
We need a change of Government in this City. That is the problem. Look at all the business's they turn away year after year (jobs lost). We were lucky to get a Wal-Mart on 6th Street! But only after our fine city commissioners fought them with a bunch of OUR money!!

Editorial: Tax fairness
If this passes all the companies have to do is move outside the United States and again, they will not have to collect sales tax. Pretty simple. That is why I shop online. When I buy big ticket items I save big bucks!
We've run off all the big clothing and electronic factories from the United States, might as well run everything else outside the united states. At least we won't have to pay sales taxes!

Opponents of drug testing for welfare benefits see it as hassling the poor; Brownback says it will help
I have to be tested to earn it. The government then takes it from me to give to the less fortunate. They too ought to be tested to get (My Money) it!!! Also please note, they do not have to take the drug test, nobody is making them!!
