Tornadic winds hit Lawrence
Probably no EBS warnings because it was a "sneak attach." I came and went so fast!

Tornadic winds hit Lawrence
We live just across Alvamar golf course on Bob Billings. Our dog woke me up around 8:10. I got up and heard the loud thundering wind. It was like thunder that wouldn't end. I looked out the window and saw debris swirling. I ran upstairs to get my kids. Just as we got to the hallway, we got hit. We have missing roof tiles, and damage in our back yard. Thank God nothing major. And thank God for our dog!!!! We adopted her about 2 months ago from the Humane shelter.

What was your greatest academic achievement?
Maintaining a 4.0 while raising 3 children and dealing with the loss of my husband. That was 8 years ago while attending Washburn U. Now, I'm maintaining a 4.0 while going to a Career College. Due to graduate this May! After that, we (children and me) are moving to North Carolina. I earned a full scholarship to attend the Nursing program at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I'll be done with that program in 2 years. Then, I can start earning some real money all while doing what I've always wanted to do..... Be a nurse! yeah!

Home for disabled accused of abuse
The ova of pinworms are so light, they actually float in the air. They can enter the respiratory tract. There, they migrate, hatch and start the whole process over again. Unless someone can prove without a doubt the ova entered through the feeding tube, I'd say they probably won't get a neglect charge on that one.
Abuse and neglect occur all the time. It's sad, unacceptable and should always be reported. Good for someone finally standing up for the residents at CLO.

Are you for or against the death penalty?
For ... If someone intentionally murdered one of my kids, I'd kill the sick ass myself! Then I'd toss the person in a crock infested swamp!

What is your opinion of Valentine's Day?
Valentine's Day Poem
Hearts and roses and kisses galore...
What the hell is all that sxit for?
People get mushy and start acting queer
It is definitely the most annoying day of the year
This day needs to get the hell over with and pass
Before I shove a dozen roses up Cupid's arss
I'll spend the day so drunk I can't speak
And wear all black for the rest of the week
Guys act all sweet, but it soon will fade
For all they are doing is trying to get laid
The arrow Cupid shot at me must not have hit
Because I think love is a crock of sxit
So there's the story... what else can I say?
Love bites my ass... @$#! Valentine's Day!

What was Abraham Lincoln's greatest accomplishment?
I didn't say he "ended" slavery. I said he "released" slavery. As others have pointed out in the 13th amendment. Guess it's just my short and to the point way of saying it. Thanks though. :-)

One of Abraham's greatest moves was his release of slavery. It affected the entire world.

Should women be able to breast-feed anywhere they have the right to be?
It's okay OMB. Marion has issues. LOL I am a woman, mother of 3. I breast fed all of my children. Not because it was "Beautiful" but because I chose to. After researching the pros and cons of breastfeeding (due in part of wharped minded individuals who get offended at the sight of a woman nursing her child), I still chose to nurse my children. After-all, the health benefits of breast feeding far outweighed the the critical thinking of the "idiots" who are offended at the sight of it. snicker snicker.

Should women be able to breast-feed anywhere they have the right to be?

What part of that statement gives off the impression (to you) that I am an idiot?
