People such as yourself, are part of the problem, not the solution.

Affordable Care Act bringing jobs to Lawrence

Maybe you should start. This "contract" is with the Federal government and is coming out of the pockets of taxpayers. These jobs are not created by the marketplace but by taking something away from somebody. There is no "creation" as a result of supply and demand.

Ralliers want to preserve current system of providing long-term services to those with disabilities

The problem, irRational_Kansan, is the current system is fraught with fraud and excessive costs that are administratively oriented. This does nothing to improve the quality of life for those that need these services and it is a burden on all taxpayers. People, such as yourself, do not seem to understand that the government is not always the answer to your problems.

Revenue secretary says tax cuts are working

All of you can look at two states in this country and see the difference in higher vs. lower taxes, California and Texas. California has higher taxes and is at the verge of default all the time. Texas, on the other hand, has a much lower tax rate and their state is thriving. Tom Holland is wrong. Merrill is wrong. Paul R. Getto is wrong. Mike1949 is wrong. anotherview is wrong. Dscully is wrong. All of you pathetic people seem to think that because a person is rich, they stole it from someone else. Therefore the government needs to punish them by confiscating their wealth and handing it over to the people that you determine deserve it. The Keynesian economic model has never worked nor will it ever work.

Letter: Evil deeds

No, but I do have an image of Tammy Faye Baker crying, burned into my memory. *shudder*

That's the same way I feel about secular relativists.

Letter: Police view

No, the President was, once again, trying to grandstand about something other than the really important issues that face our nation by using the parents of the Newtown victims as a backdrop. President Obama made his pass at gun control and failed. Now he can stand up in front of his "peeps" and say, "I tried."

A sample of 15,000 out of 400,000 is, actually, a very large sample and far more than almost all pollsters obtain during the political season. No, this was a valid survey and the author did a good job of presentation. Your rebuttal is without merit. Overruled.

Rules tighten on TANF recipients

Oh, and one more thing; abortion is murder. You are actually killing a living human no matter how you want to justify it. To argue otherwise is denial of the truth.

Rules tighten on TANF recipients

To attribute the ridiculous statement about "shut that whole thing down" to the entire pro life, male, community is disingenuous. As is the argument that most abortions are a result of rape or incest. Your argument fits your name.
