Gun bills easily approved

I'm wondering how many guns are made in the state of Kansas. Are there any gun manufacturer's here in the state. If not, could it be that this bill will bring some in, maybe bringing along with some jobs?

City ordinance lands unlicensed solicitors in jail

I believe there were five or six people arrested about a month ago for the same thing. Those arrests happened in the Bob Billings & Westbrooke Steet area. You would think they would learn.

KBI arrests Franklin County sheriff and deputy on obstruction of justice charges

The previous story stated he was running unopposed. So unless there was a big write in campaign it would have been hard for him not to win.

Former Kansas inmate who killed 3 in DUI accident has parole revoked

"I've never met anyone who felt more guilty for what they've done."

Really? She felt so guilty that she went out drinking and driving once again. Thank god she was arrested this time, before killing more innocent people.

It does not mater where she is from, she needs to be returned to prison for the remainder of her sentence. She can deal with her guilt there.

Lawrence police working to identify adult who sent sexual pictures to child

If the picture was of a sexual nature, I'm guessing it was probably pretty obvious that it was an adult in the picture, although that doesn't necessarily mean that an adult sent it.

Knology sale to WOW now official; customers not expected to see immediate changes

Joshua,

Just wondering if it would be possible to get this service brought into the condominium complex I live in at Bob Billings & Westbrooke Street. There are 85-90 units in here. I've tried both AT&T DSL (Uverse is not available here) and Knology, they both suck. AT&T said we are to far from their box and they couldn't do anything to improve it, and Knology only seems to work about half the time.

A note about recent changes

If I wanted a mobile site to come up on my phone I would download an app for it. Mobile sites, yours included, are crap. Why do you fell the need to automatically make someone switch over to this? Then to make matters worse, when you click the view full site button nothing happens, it just takes you back to the same crappy mobile site.

Town Talk: Starbucks moving forward with W. Sixth Street drive-through; community theater project taking shape; incubator to launch entrepreneur series

I'm thinking on nice days I might have to go to J&S to get my coffee, then go across the street and take a seat at the new Starbucks outdoor patio to enjoy my J&S coffee.
