Optional rider for abortion coverage not available in state employee health plan

I called my insurance provider, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, and their is no such rider for any of their plans. There is not an option to purchase a supplemental policy to cover abortions, even if I wanted to pay for it out of pocket. I also contact Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, same answer.

The law states if I want it I have to purchase a policy that covers it, but there is no such policy available... hmmm.

Petitions delivered urging Brownback to veto anti-abortion measures

Thank you for your efforts. You not being able to purchase the additional supplemental policy for abortion coverage led me to call my insurance company. I found that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City has no such supplemental plans that can be purchased. I find it interesting that the law states if I want the coverage I have to pay for it myself, but there is no such coverage available.

I am grasping at nothing. You seem to be the overzealous individual in this situation. I was simply pointing out that there may have been other reasons for her to have made a drug purchase.

I am unsure why you find it necessary to be so passionate about the defense of Ms. Jones, when others are simply speculating, but congratulations to you for letting your crazy show. Wow.

I wonder if you have considered other reasons for her buying.. such as trying to play at being undercover? She has a history of really going after drug users/sellers and that includes allegations of crossing the line. She was also accused of being at drug busts that she had no business of being at. Seems to me that if she was that involved, it's not as far fetched that she did purchase, but for other reasons than personal use.

There is no doubt there is a shady history with these two, including pushing the boundaries of the law.

Right, because I "chose" to get raped as a virgin and "chose" to get pregnant from that... is that what you are saying? Of course it is, because I am sure that I somehow managed to bring it on myself. After all, being born with a vagina is enough of a reason for a man to rape me..

That is a good question. I know I didn't vote for her. When it comes up in conversation, I have not heard one person say they did. Maybe they were to ashamed to admit that they did.. I don't know. What I do know is that it's not that big of a loss for the county.

Your loyalty to Ms. Jones is admirable. However, you are not among many that I know, none of whom are criminals, nor have they been in legal trouble. They are people that see the situation and the person for what they are. I appreciate you having your opinion, allow me to have mine. Mine being "Good bye and Good Riddance, she will not be missed"

This is an interesting conversation! If you would like to hit "reply" it would help streamline the process. I don't base my assumptions on anything, I speak of facts. Facts that the LJW has a policy against posting details about those activities because they would violate the user agreement. Based upon your reply, I think it is safe to say you know what activities that are being spoken of. Also, I notice that you are not refuting the statement that you may very well be Ms. Jones herself.
