Lawrence police officers and Douglas County sheriff deputies detain a suspect in a stabbing incident along the bike path near Clinton Lake. William E. Nichols was arrested after a 15-minute manhunt in the area between the YSI softball fields and the Clinton Lake Dam Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Homeless street urchins that bums money down on Mass Street no doubt (for his drug money). Lawrence PD needs to get a WHOLE lot tougher on this scum in downtown and move them along to somewhere where they desired! Boulder, CO comes to mind! If not, your daughters may be at risk of getting attacked by this type of scum. Move them along Lawrence PD, move them along!

acornwebworks seems to be harboring a severe jealousy that he doesn't know Billy Nichol so he just assumes that others with something to say about him don't either.. I do know him. He has been a freeloading loser for a long time. It's just a shame that he also turned out to be a creepy psychopath as well. He has lived in KS, GA, Fl, and back to KS. Would never hold a job and could never have a real, long term relationship because of his issues. There are many things I could post to verify that I know this guy but I'm not gonna compromise the position of other, innocent people in his life.
