Wow, how tragic. Family is in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the person responsible takes the higher road and comes forth.

This is heartbreaking. Poor baby. I have a son her age and a daughter who is 19, so this hits way too close to home. If she went to school in Lawrence, they possibly knew her. The loss to her parents and family is just unfathomable, but I know her classmates and friends are hurting very badly, too.

Seems like kids lose too many of their friends these days. I don't remember it being so bad when I was their age. (Maybe I was just lucky.) Condolences to all who loved her.

Another beautiful life snuffed by drunk driving.

When will it ever end?

My hopes and condolences go out to all the Leeks, a great family.

This makes me very sad. My heart goes out to her friends and family. Senseless.
