Free State seniors Hayden Emerson, left, Ali Zaidi, Myette Simpson and Clare Frantz, celebrate a second quarter Firebirds touchdown by senior running back Kirk Resseguie against Shawnee Mission Northwest Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at Free State High School. At halftime, Zaidi and Simpson were announced as the 2009 homecoming king and queen.
