Seventh-graders Chealsey Walker, center, jokes with friend Tabitha Pobjoy as she welcomes her at the finish line of Thursday's Fun Run at Central Junior High School. Students ran more than two miles in the run, which is a school fundraiser that has brought in more than $11,000. The 25-year-old event raises money for a variety of school activities, including field trips, band and choir. The school hopes to raise $18,000 by Monday's deadline.
