Officials wondering whether plans for new junior high are 'too far out'

gould evans' primary responsibility is to incorporate realities in public education into the structure's functionality. high design given the (likely tight) budget constraints would be a bonus. from the coverage so far, seems they've done a fine job of addressing the need for versatility due to inconsistent class sizes and frequently oversized classes. and thankfully the design looks to be somewhat progressive. when so much of the new construction in this town is environmentally and functionally irresponsible, besides being aesthetic abortions, why not support projects that are (at least) borne of good intentions? in any case, it's far too early to discount this as 'far out' or highfalutin.
