You also spoke with clarity, understanding, integrity and believability.
This naturally made you a target of the hater-troll, who (as you pointed out) consistently displays here his lack of any of those attributes.

tusch, I'm sorry you experienced that. I'm guessing that even being close to that stuff can be pretty traumatic. I am very thankful I was not so victimized, having been brought up in Scouting and the Catholic Church in the 50's and 60's.

If you read my post, you will see that I acknowledge that the etymology of the word is often confused.

If you had researched farther, you would have found that many consider the word to be anti-semitic. whether correctly or not.

It's like flying the confederate flag. Since it is offensive to so many people, its use is offensive.

And since many people consider this word to be anti-semitic, it's use is offensive.
