Former KU student sentenced to 30 days in jail, barred from social media, for attacking female student
any guy that beats up a woman may be pretty cool in your book
but I think he is a waste of manhood
I think he should meet the same fate as the lady
now that wouid be under todays standards cruel and unusual punishment

Former KU student sentenced to 30 days in jail, barred from social media, for attacking female student
pretty lame sentence, but I am sure some folks
think by todays standards this is cruel and unusual punishment

City manager forecasting increase in city's general fund property tax rate for 2014 budget

Embattled KCC director out following critical statements
we need to eliminate all wasteful spending at all levels
unless of course the pork barrel funds end up in douglas county
then it is pretty much ok, cause that's how we roll

Lawrence gas station owner gets caught up in national battle with Big Oil over future of ethanol
whether you like E 85 or not
hardly anyone but fools buy gas because it is Phillips bp or whatever
very few use the oil credit car, so that isn't a seller
scott knows he doesn't have to brand with 66 and they may not want him anyway
he can rebrand, or private brand if he wants, he just doesn't get the funny money they offer
put up or shut up,

Roberts votes against farm bill, Moran votes for it
it passed so this article really does't matter
usually the way they work it, the ones up for election vote the way the people want it
and the rest vote to get the bill pushed thru.(or not)
it is just a game they have played for years

City commissioner to host meeting Thursday on improving storm shelter availability
this is always a hot topic after a bad storm.
it usually loses steam as time goes by, until the next storm
then it becomes a big issue again

Lawrence police seeking two men in connection with Saturday incident at Lawrence McDonald’s
I human life is of little value in kanas courts
it cost too much to give them the death penalty
I saw in another state a man for 90 years for rape
I am sure their were reasons that made this just but
5 yrs for killing someone is pretty lame, even for liberal Kansas
