Duo has plan to convert Teller's into gastropub with heavy emphasis on craft beers; Papa Murphy's opens with special event for Boys and Girls Club today
Who cares so long that it is good? I know from direct experience, the old occupants buy local as do the new occupants. The space is occupied which is better than empty.
I often wonder how much experience critics have of operating a business and/or restaurant experience. I guess is very little. I have a gut feeling, that both the old and new occupants are doing more for the local economy, than I imagine those who criticize are.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it you computer couchtards! So called consumer feedback is not the only thing that drives the economy.

Opinion: U.S. must do more to fight radical Islam
Radicalized profit zealots, in Texas, killed 11 more than the radicalized Islamic terrorists last week. What are we going to do about them?

Farmers' market
Those photos barley scratch the surface. It was one of the largest market openings I have seen. This photo piece with word regurgitations does not do it justice.
There are two attitudes that predominate business.
1) The pie is only so big and every new person cuts into my piece.
2) The easier it is for more people to come to the table with what they can offer builds a bigger Pie
Unfortunately way too much of the first attitude listed going around. So to all of you in the large business community how about giving us kids a break, or god forbid go the distance to help us.

"Why I Left the Republican Party" -- 03/16/13 at Lawrence Arts Center
The longer it takes for people to realize, the party is radically different than it was 20 years ago let alone before 64, the longer it will take to get them back after they actually leave.

Turning the tide: As traditional churches see interest wane, upstarts draw in young people
What's the difference between a therapist, Hip pastor spiritual guide and a con man?
Its not money! Thats the commonality.
All 3 cases money is extracted with no tangible received goods.
One uses school, one uses God, and the last uses their wits and does not even try to convince themselves that they are providing something in exchange. Yet the consumer does get something valuable from the con man, an expensive lesson.
Which is the most honest?

Fred is honest other than not admitting he fantasizes about sex with men.
