KU student killed in crash on U.S. Highway 59
that area is not technically the "new" highway. obeying stop signs would have been a plus. condolences to the family

Editorial: Parking plans
those residents pay their taxes 12 months a year. It is only right that they would expect to be able to park in front of their homes. KU and their "students" have run rampant in Lawrence for years. It is way past time to start reeling them in and holding them accountable. Why can't the frats and sororities be made to provide parking for their members on site? I just know I would not live anywhere near the spoiled brats at KU

City agrees to create resident-only parking zone on street near KU campus
why not? They pay taxes 12 months a year. Students pay nada. It is way past time for the spoiled brats at KU to realize the world is not here to appease them. There will be no way to support this parking deal, as the students will walk all over it anyway, just like always. why don't the student club houses come up with their own parking areas? Oh wait, that would cause them to do something other than make money charging preppies

Prosecutors planning to move forward with allegations of animal cruelty at KU fraternity
had to go there didn't you? With all the problems in America, you and your animal rights activists are worrying about a turkey? This is the problem with today's screwed up society. you need to worry about today's big problems, and not worry about food. When I see you and your friends living with farm livestock to comfort them, I will attempt to believe you ideas. Until then, just a lot of hot air coming from folks with no real idea what to worry about

City to use eminent domain to take over dilapidated East Lawrence property; Just Food seeks $25,000 in CDBG funding to expand dairy, meat offerings
supermarkets get their meat from wholesale suppliers. These folks get their meat from several meat packers around Kansas and Nebraska mainly. All food products have a sell by date. Which is not necessarily when it goes bad.

Report: McLemore’s AAU coach took agent money
this is why I hate one and done players. they have no intention of doing anything but play one year at college level and move on making millions. they will take any money and gifts given to them and not give a crap
