Conrad Altenbernd III has designed and printed 300 bandanas commemorating the 150th anniversary of Q

Better hurry, they're selling like hotcakes. Maybe he'll have more printed.

Fiery debate over expansion of concealed carry, assertion of state gun rights as Kansas House advances bills

I suggest that the people here who believe that "The United States belongs to the citizens of Kansas, not the other way around," can just secede from the union. Good riddance.

Lawrence man found guilty of animal cruelty after tying dog's hind legs

No matter what, please don't return this dog to him. He is obviously too stupid to care for another living creature.

Mono-dramatic: Jayhawks sloppy in new jerseys

drnater: Not all of us have ESPN at home on a giant screen. I was amongst many many people who have to go to a bar to see the game and can't sit right in front of a big screen. We could not make everyone out and we know who everyone is. Trust me, it isn't so easy and not all TVs are created equal either. Give me a break.

Mono-dramatic: Jayhawks sloppy in new jerseys

I love the color and style of the uniforms but it was impossible to identify the players. How frustrating. It made it hard to stay focused on the game. Please don't do this to Jayhawk fans again. Get some numbers the TV audience can read so we can follow the game.

Brownback: Keep state sales tax at current level, cut more income taxes; change judicial selection

Brownback eliminated property taxes on equipment (trucks, tractors, etc) owned by KS businesses (but we individuals still pay it on our cars, trailers, etc). This money went directly into county coffers to fund county services. Now KS counties such as Jefferson Co, which has Hamm's, have lost a huge part of their operating budgets with nowhere to come up with the $, and many were running on a shoe string as it was. This is supposed to bring more business to KS I presume, but I suspect the biggest beneficiary of this is Koch Industries.
