Notebook: Michigan's Mitch McGary on low blow: 'It was intentional'
If the refs had just called the flagrant 2 that EJ deserved, we would have won the game 'cause he wouldn't have been around to give it away later!

Whew! Kansas survives big, red scare
Whoever had only 3 turnovers recorded for Elijah didn't watch the same game as I did.

Elijah Johnson reclaiming role as Jayhawks' driving force
The vehicle finally started when Naadir connected the jumper cables. Coach needs to restrict Elijah's time behind the wheel. We've been getting our doors blown off with him in the driver's seat!

Opinion: Point guard Marcus Smart shows KU what it's missing
The game wasn't lost when Johnson fumbled the final possession, or when he handed them the ball on the last play of the first half (just like last game). Starting a player at point guard shouldn't be a decision based on seniority! OSU built their early lead while Elijah was clanking shot after shot from 3 point range, completely oblivious to the point guard's role as facilitator. Coach, I appreciate your loyalty to your seniors, but I think you can consider any debt to Elijah paid in full!

Notebook: Elijah Johnson believes shooting will improve; KU will wear alternate unis Monday
lvlndhawk: We need a point guard! This will become a more glaring weakness late in the season. A point guard should be looking to distribute the ball. Elijah seems to be mainly worried about his own stats.

Opinion: It's time to embrace this team's ugly way of winning
The starters all shot at least 50 percent except for Elijah, who was 1 for 13. Couple that with terrible passing, inability to push the ball up the court and you understand the major problem the Hawks are having.

Xavier transfer Mark Lyons considering KU
The high scool phenom news conference is getting to be old hat. That routine usually means the kid is a one-and-done wannabe. Lyons sounds like a head case who'd be detrimental to team chemistry.

KU men's basketball notebook: Foul J'Covan Brown? No way
If KU can get stronger play from the bench, the team's maturity becomes a big factor in the post season.

Altered anthem bothers Bill Self
As a veteran, I resent this insult to our country's national anthem. As a combat veteran, I don't recall the phrase "home of the brave" applying only to the Illiterate, right-wing citizens of our country!
