Details emerge about agreements between Fritzel entity and KU on Rock Chalk Park project
i want to break down the KU portion and city portion, and see where this $1.3 million applies percentage wise...then amortize the KU Athletics construction cost to get a ball park rate of return, not counting concessions - i hope this comment doesn't get censored.

Mayor wants more information on KU-Fritzel agreements before final approval of rec center plan
i might be more comfortable if the whole deal wasn't so confusing, expensive and how elected and appointed government officials have been pushing so hard for this thing to happen.
i guess we're supposed to turn a blind eye. the library boondoggle is hard enough to stomach.

Should there be a citywide vote to approve the $25 million recreation center as part of the larger Rock Chalk Park?
they put the $18 million library to a vote and it didn't matter for those of us who didn't want to waste the money on a wasteful project. why should this be any different?
this thing is in the bag. it's already been decided.

More twists with recreation center project: KU Endowment now requiring city to pay for land; UPDATE Self's Foundation again planning donation to city
the assists foundation was the original driving force behind this recruiting mecca....why did they bug out and when did they do it? If bill self isn't going to be a part of this, then the city should drop the whole thing.

did i get my comment removed because i said, ' so lawrence is a dark spiritual area, what else is new?' or was it because i said, 'just look at all the hate filled comments'?
i love how freedom of speech ONLY applies if you are a liberal. conservatives have to be censored. talk about hypocrisy.

City releases draft agreement related to bidding of proposed recreation center; other agreements between Fritzel entity and KU not yet released
this thing needs to be put on hold for the time being, and most everyone knows why.
