If there is structural damage to the roof, which there probably is based on the last time I was in that building (about a year ago), it wouldn't surprise me.

Especially on an building this age.

New U.S. Highway 59 expected to open to traffic by late Wednesday

In the time I have lived out here (near the 59 Zarco, just shy of 10 years), I have seen or heard of the following:

- The fence in front of the house at the top of the hill, just before the curve, rebuilt 3 separate times.
- a car on it's side and on fire just past that fence.
- 9 deaths between 1100 road and 56 hwy.
- 5 car pile up when the down side of the Pleasant Grove hill during icy conditions.
- crazy woman plow down several construction workers.

I remember reading (I'll see if I can find it) that mile for mile the section of 59hwy between south Lawrence and 56hwy was one of the most dangerous sections of pavement in the country or state (can't remember which).

Driving the new road today was so much safer than before. Places to safely stop a car without suddenly finding a deep ditch, and no high speed corners. Nice smooth transitions.

In this case, I am ok with my tax dollars being spent this way.

Knology sold to Denver area company for more than $750 million

The market is pretty small for the other players. The same problem rural internet has. The price of the tech has to drop to make it cost effective to server such a small group of people. 100k isn't a huge market for these bigger companies. Dolph was pretty good at protecting his borders from intrusion, though.

Bill would allow guns on campus

You know jack. SKS-AK47-AK74 are all available in markets there for less than $200. When you are not trained to shoot, volume beats out accuracy.

No go sit down and suck your tea party thumb.

Would you be opposed to buying violent toys (such as action figures, soldiers, guns, etc.)?

No such thing as a bad person. Some's significantly better than others though . . .
