Affinitas layoffs, closure in works
Julie, as a former supervisor, this is absolutely no surprise. Remember, there was a program that was pulled from another one of their locations because they could not keep the quality that was requested by the client. That program was doubled in size with work by the client because they were so impressed with the quality of the team in Lawrence. They were far from perfect but impressive as a team none the less. Once that program was up and running like it never had before, they send it back out of town to the same location that couldn't keep the quality in prior attempts. None of what I have read here comes as a surprise to me. Not because they let me know what was going on, but because of the things I witnessed while employed there. There were some incredibly hard working people that I truly miss working along side (not to mention, very entertaining a lot of the time). All I can say is the one thing I am thankful for is the thought that these incredible people are now out from under the thumb of that lackluster dungeon.
