Half Price Books to close Lawrence store in coming months

wissmo - I agree with drumming up business. I frequent HPB and I speak highly of it to friends and family....but no harm in a petition in addition to that. Why not let corporate now how we feel and back that up with our patronage?

If any one starts a petition to keep it open let us know. I love Half Price Books. I love tangible books at affordable prices. I love the random games, stationary, gifts you can find there. I love the friendly staff. I love that I don't have to battle Mass St traffic to visit a used bookstore. So if any one starts a petition or cash mob or something...let those of us who love this place know!

What a Vegetarian Knows about Chicken and Toy Story 3

I was not trying to belittle anyone. I am not claiming to have perfect grammar nor am I saying that I am a professional writer. Sorry if you assumed otherwise. I even admit in my last sentence that I was probably only bothered by it because the article wasn't what I was expecting it to be. I think if I had made the statement in person, the comment may not have come off as being harsh. I am sorry if JEN found it to be harsh and I would like her to know I did not mean it in that way. And HRCJJ, yes I did mean "our", thanks a bunch. I'll try not to assume your belittling me with your grammar correction until you tell me otherwise.

What a Vegetarian Knows about Chicken and Toy Story 3

I'm must respectfully disagree with the title of this article. At one time you may have been a vegetarian, but it sound like you gave that up a long time ago. What a vegetarian knows about chicken...a vegetarian knows the steps it took to get that chicken in the super market. May I suggest the title "What a former vegetarian knows about chicken. Perhaps you think I'm just a crazy peta loving idiot....I'm not a peta member (I think they are a bit radical). I usually keep my mouth shut about the subject, but for some reason this article rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I was expecting an intelligent discussion about where are food really comes from and instead I found something different.
