They go around in protective gear because they collide at full speed.
Red Dog training is designed for endurance/aerobic/slow twitch muscle fiber development. Football is a sprinting game, therefore fast twitch fiber development is needed.
Head balls in soccer are proven to have more of an effect on the brain than football does (not including spearing or leading with the head)
Two totally different sports, soccer is not a contact sport, so don't try to compare it to football.
