Here's another suggestion. Be careful of where you buy your new mattress and box springs. Some of those discount furniture stores sell allegedly new mattresses that are actually old mattresses that are dirty, stained and bug infested but have been recovered so no one will know.
I wish I could remember which new medias did an expose on this in another state years ago, but they bought some mattresses, slit them open and found bed bugs as well as other insects, mold, stains, etcetera. If it the price is too good to be true, your new purchase might literally bite.

Yep, the government wants to listen in on your calls because your conversations are sooooo tintillating.
Why most of you making are making this a bigger deal under Obama than under Bush is interesting. Kind of shows your true colors.

Ottawa El Mezcal restaurant closed by Immigration and Customs officials
It's very possible this is not primarily about undocumented workers. If that were the case, there are plenty of other businesses in Kansas that would have been raided and shut down long ago.

Embattled KCC director out following critical statements
A confidentail report becomes public because a handful of people can't take criticism? Really? It just sounds too stupid to believe.

Do you think the city should require homes to have storm shelters?
Is there even a FEMA approved above ground shelter that will withstand F4 or F5 tornadoes?
Some of those silly web sites advertising "tornado rooms" don't look like they'd even keep a case of Bud safe in a F3.

Jefferson County woman charged in alleged murder-for-hire scheme
Would not be surprised if that government assistance check is for deminished capacity. She should have had a case worker. Oh, wait! Everyone is supposed to take care of themselves, regardless of their ability to do so. After all, we certainly don't want to be a nanny state.
An analysis of the cost of her being sent to prison, versus the cost of a case worker might be interesting. I don't know what case workers, who still have their jobs, are being paid these days.
