Lawrence's Amarr Garage Door Group laying off about 100 employees

YOU NEED TO READ BETTER! NO ONE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SECURITY! THEY WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE WAY WE WERE TOLD ABOUT THE LAY OFF THEN ESCORTED OUT BY SECURITY LIKE WE HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG! YOUR A JERK! I I DO HAVE A LAWYER AND I WILL POST THE CORRECT WAY TO HANDLE THE INSURANCE ISSUE! AMARR MIGHT FIND OUT THAT THEY COULD LOOSE MORE MONEY FROM THE WAY THE HANDLED THINGS! THEY THINK BECAUSE THEY ARE A BIG COMPANY THAT THEY CAN TREAT PEOPLE ANY WAY THEY WANT TO! OOPS DONT THINK SO. YOU CANT STEAL FROM PEOPLE THAT WORKED SO HARD FOR YOU. THE INSURANCE SHOULD OF LASTED TO THE END OF THE MONTH. AGAINST THE LAW!

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT IS LEGAL TO CANCEL THE PERSON THAT GOT LAID OFFS INSURANCE THAT NIGHT AT MIDNIGHT BUT WHEN WE GOT OUR CHECKS THEY HAD TAKEN OUT INSURANCE PAYMENTS?? WHO IS GETTING TO KEEP THIS MONEY. THERE IS ALSO MISSING VACATION TIME THAT JUST DISAPEARED. IF ANY ONE HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO AN ATTORNEY AND WOULD BE GLAD TO HAVE SOME OTHERS TO FILE THIS COMPLAINT WITH ME AGAINST AMARR.

Sixth and Wakarusa loses another business

Sorry to hear about the closing. I thought they did GREAT! I have a big family, I think that we need a Buffet as well. I always have to take my family to Topeka to Golden Corral or Coyote Canyon ( LOVE BOTH OF THEM BY THE WAY ) or go the other way towards KC to a Buttet called Ryans ( OUR FAVORITE ) when you have a big family no one ever wants the same thing so this helps! We have also been wondering why we have to go out of town for Churchs Chicken #1, Olive Garden and Red Lobster. I would put money on it that any of the Restaurants I mentioned would do Outstanding in Lawrence! If I could I would open any of them my self, but dont got that option. If any one opens one, I need a second job you owe me :) JK
