Affordable Adoptions
In early February the LJW reported that adoptions cost between $10,000 and $40,000. Some adoptions are expensive but not all. Adoption of children from child welfare is inexpensive, rewarding and very common.
How I came to live in Lawrence
I came to Lawrence in 1983 to join the KU School of Social Work facutly. I left in 1995 to join the faculty of the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I retired and returned to Lawrence in 2002.
