10-year-old Leavenworth County girl dies after crashing RTV into farm pond

I can't imagine the anguish going through her fathers head as he tried in vain to lift the RTV off his drowning daughter. Heartbreaking.

Should a parent use his or her cell phone while at their child's sporting, music or arts event?

How does this have anything to do with using a phone or not. Go preach elsewhere...

Should a parent use his or her cell phone while at their child's sporting, music or arts event?

This is a stupid question. Would I take a phone call if I was sitting in the bleachers at my sons little league game? Yes. Would I take a phone call during my sons school music program? Absolutely not, in fact It would be turned off. The question posed above dosen't differentiate the scenarios, therefore, is a flawed question to begin with.

Meth, by the numbers

I think Merrill knows the article is not about weed. What he's obviously saying is that if marijuana use is decriminalized, more resources could be freed up to combat the increase in meth manufacture. I completely agree with Merrills statements.

Right now only children are required to wear life jackets on a boat in Kansas. Should all passengers in a boat be required to wear a life jacket?

Artwhore,The question doesn't ask if Life Jackets are or are not necessary, it asks whether or not they should be worn at all times by occupants of a boat. We who choose to not wear them (but have them close by and readily accessible - which IS the law) are not idiots.
