Area receives up to 7 inches of snow in overnight winter storm
Yes I read it, "up to 9 inches in NE kansas" does not tell how much snow Lawrence got. Supposedly its up to a foot in Kansas City. The news keeps showing totals from surrounding areas but has yet to show how much Lawrence got. Topeka for example, only got 6 inches. I was curious if the plows were plowing the streets (not curious if they were plowing downtown)

Agreed - I just thought our local newspaper might want to post a fresh story with the most up to date weather information, not the information from yesterday. Channel 199 this morning said that the snow might not begin to accumulate until early tomorrow morning for the KC area.
