Biography
My mother, sister, and I own a ceramics/pottery supply business in North Lawrence, started by Mom & Dad in 1982. I'm a product of the Lawrence school system, where I was lucky enough to have too many favorite and influential teachers to name here. I attended KU for a few years until my dad got sick and I went to work at the family business (that was over a decade ago). I consider myself a moderate with some liberal social leanings.
How I came to live in Lawrence
I was 3-1/2 years old when my parents moved to Lawrence and I've been here ever since.

country, jazz, rock, pop, etc. but not rap or really hard core rock, especially when I can't even understand the words they are screaming

whatever I'm reading right now...
Fiction: mystery, suspense, thrillers.
Non-fiction: biographies
I also keep promising myself to get to some of the "classics" that I haven't read or haven't read in a long time.
Favorite TV shows
mostly dramas, although I'm somewhat of a reality show junkie. (blush)
Favorite movies
I like a wide variety of movies. I've enjoyed some that the critics really hate and hated some that the critics say are "must-see." It totally depends on my mood.
