Driver crashes into house after losing control of vehicle on K-10

You guys all have ideas of what to do in this accident but I am sure in a moment of crossing the median of a highway you would shut or engine off while going into oncoming traffic! Some people... Just never gets old

LHS, Free State change location of graduation on Sunday

this is rediculous. i am a Senior at LHS and everyone was looking forward to graduating at Memorial Stadium. you know it kind of pisses me off because our school administrators always say that LHS is always about tradition, why would they change the graduation to Allen Fieldhouse? I do believe LHS seniors have been graduating from Memorial Stadium for many years shouldn't we continue doing so to keep "tradition" it seems like tradition is just an excuse to make students do things exactly how the staff wants and we have no input. i think it is time to think about getting a new SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT!!!!

Wintry weather causes cancellations

this is rediculous that everyone around lawrence does not have school but lawrence does... it may not be that bad in town but in the country where i live the roads are horrible and i dont think we should have school... who ever calls school for lawrence is stupid and self minded... there is no way school should be going on tommorow at all... the ice makes it so hard to drive expecially when there are high schoolers all over not knowing how to drive.

i completely agree with "eb" everytime i read an article i always read the comments at the bottom and some old people with nothing better to do than complain or say something bad about younger people than them.
