Its also a function of numbers. A school that boasts having over 300,000 alums should get a large amount of donations.

Students vote with their feet and KSU has supassed KU in undergraduate enrollment. Look it up. And that is before the new higher standards went into effect.

Don't forget the part Johnson County taxpayers did to help support both of these initiatives thruogh the passage of a sales tax for the triangle with very little in return.

This wouid be a perfect opportunity for the endowment fund to step up and start a trust to pay scholarships for employee dependents. No reason for taxpayer support for this.

Let their kids qualify for scholarships the same way everyone else does, based on merit. I doubt many take teaching positions at KU with the intention to send their kids there anyway.
