Vulgar license plates are OUTALUK in Kansas
Wow, one complaint a year... glad we're spending tax money on this, in fact, I can totally see why we're pulling things like funding for the arts so that we can keep many people employed to handle one complaint a year about allegedly offensive plates.

Zombie Squad to tout preparedness at library
Big, the zombie theme with this group is merely a flashy vehicle to promote the sometimes dry subject of disaster preparedness. Our world is a different place than it was even decades ago, and a little forethought of what we ought to have on hand or at the ready in a disaster situation, whatever it may be, would do many of us, if not all of us, some good. Ideally, we'd never have to use these plans, but at least they're in place.

100 chickens stolen in unusual livestock theft
I like that the stolen ATV and the mower were a footnote to the allegedly stolen chickens.
Good detective work that the chickens maybe just maybe wandered out through the cut fence.
How is it that livestock were apparently left to their own for days at a time? I'd like to know what kind of chickens those were that could provide for themselves for extended periods.

This year's college freshmen don't know about airplane tickets, Bill Clinton or Vito Corleone
While I was wrong about the fact that De Niro did technically play the "young Vito" in the second movie, I invite all of you to google "Vito Corleone" and tell me who the definitive Vito is played by.

This year's college freshmen don't know about airplane tickets, Bill Clinton or Vito Corleone
What makes you think they'd watch Godfather II if they don't know who Vito Corleone is in the first place?

This year's college freshmen don't know about airplane tickets, Bill Clinton or Vito Corleone
They probably don't know Robert De Niro as Vito Corleone because he wasn't Vito Corleone.
Marlon Brando was Vito Corleone.

Kobach says Kansas has green light on illegal immigration crackdown
Dang... I finally just got my first good tan of the season... looks like I'll have to throw all my personal documents in the glovebox.

Officers may face discipline at state level
That's funny... I wonder why he saw fit to write one down under his name when he cited me.

Officers may face discipline at state level
George and Shaun,
Why don't we see good old Mike Peck on our list of officers who went astray? I believe he was let go in '03. Badge number 0007 if I recall properly... he was a clown anyway.
