Teachers, district reach tentative deal on pay
If taxpayers had their way...the SLT would have already been built. Now, we voted for the SLT, but you and your ilk have postponed, blocked, ranted, and raved to keep it from being built.
But we the people voted for the SLT, just like we the people voted for your precious empTy and the ridiculous library renovation. You can't pick and chose which taxpayer-voted projects you like and dislike if you keep using "let the taxpayers vote" argument.

Judge overrules municipal court finding that Lawrence sidewalk ordinance is unconstitutionally vague
That is what is sad. I don't believe that he can. It's a hard case.

From what I understand from the many articles about him in the past he refuses help of any kind.

Taking a look at restaurant violations
Actually, I do have a substantial garden every year. The rest my produce is bought by farms right here.
It's laughable that something I know is a fact at local restaurants you find to be pompous. While one can never be sure about every item one can darn sure make a choice when he or she does know for sure. I chose to act on that knowledge.

Taking a look at restaurant violations
Hmm, bigot, racist, right? Try this truth on for size. I know some of them through my children's activities, some through friends, and some through my own employees who have worked at some of these places.
This has nothing to do with bigotry or racism. There are people in this country--and that includes both employers and employees, breaking federal law.
That I CHOOSE not to support these criminals doesn't make me either racist nor a bigot.

Taking a look at restaurant violations
While the owners of some of these restaurants may be U.S. citizens, they employ many people who are in this country illegally, and employ them for a cheap wage. I simply refuse to do business with any of these places. I can't support that practice. Think globally, act locally, right?

Motivation needed
I will guarantee you more people across the U.S. A. know about Lawrence, KS than they know of Payson, AZ.
Not that it matters.
