Lawrence boxer is a world contender
I'm not disputing the young mans fight coming up as being insignificant. What bothers me is Zak is a local kid, whom i've never gotten a response from Keegan. The sports dept. has done a story about MMA fighters fighting out of a garage in Eudora and having held fights out of the old Coyotes here in Lawrence. Why no interest in a LHS grad. Zak has been on the undercard of two main fights and in 2008 he had the distinction of having the fastest submission in Strikeforce at 35 sec. on a submission.

Not to take anything away from this young man's accomplishments, but Mr. Keegan what criteria are you looking for in a story. I have sent you two emails about a local young man born and raised in Lawrence, Zak Bucia, who is a pro MMA fighter with a record of 11-4 and currently holds two welterweight belts. One from Wyoming and just recently the Dragonhouse belt out of Oakland Cal.
