Town Talk: A boardwalk-like development along the Kaw gaining steam in North Lawrence; city's retail vacancy rate lower than K.C.'s; a meeting for public farmers

I love this idea and really hope that they don't have any major roadblocks (haha). The KS River is such a beautiful area. It could be a great infusion to north Lawrence. Good luck to Rick and the businessmen!

Town Talk: Neighbors vs. developers in West Lawrence and a no-win situation for City Commissioners; Wakarusa Music Festival up for national award

Congratulations to Brett and everyone at Pipeline!! What an honor. Of course Lawrence lost it - this city cracks me up. Liberal yes, but not liberal enough to allow a decent music festival that brought in eco devo dollars. Liberal Lawrence my hind end. Laughable!

Town Talk: Mexican restaurant coming to old Jo Shmo's spot; The Oread to be featured on cable's 'My Fair Wedding'; Title Boxing set to open; Cooley to retire as city attorney

Oh goody. Another Mexican restaurant. That'll be defunct in about 6 months. Maybe holding out for a better possibility for a tenant is the best thing to do?
Thanks for the continuing laughs, Chad.

You continually crack me up Chad.
You forgot about the Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Saturday night. Lawrence's own Ashley David will perform.

What’s next?

Great editorial. Sam's whole agenda is to be the VP nomination on Rick Perry's presidential bid.
